Prestigious National Project to Renew The City Block for Parliament and Public Use

The upcoming redesign of an entire block of buildings across Wellington Street from Parliament Hill will bring courtyards, atriums and a new public square to downtown Ottawa while preserving heritage buildings. The new Block of integrated heritage and cutting-edge buildings will provide offices for use by the Senate, House of Commons and Indigenous People’s Space.

As part of the award winning design team, Lobo provided subject matter expertise related to security operations, technology and infrastructure and their associated impacts to all aspects of design including Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, to name a few. Lobo also coordinated the efforts of the design team and served as the main point of contact between the design team and Client security stakeholders.
