Providing Comprehensive Assessments of the Security Program Across Multiple Sites.

The project’s key objectives included a highly detailed assessment and analysis of The Ottawa Hospital’s existing security technology, physical security measures and security management program in place across six sites including Civic Campus, General Campus, Riverside Campus, Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre (IGFCC), West End Villa (WEV) and 1355 Bank St. First Episode Clinic. The key deliverable was a comprehensive assessment report that identified areas of concern, opportunities for improvement and discussed whether the existing systems, technology, physical security measures and security management programs were adequate with regards to addressing present and future risks or threats as compared to industry best practices at similar healthcare facilities in Ontario.
