Major retail shopping centres, like Toronto’s Yorkdale, have complex and layered security operations. Understanding whether those systems have been deployed, configured and integrated to achieve optimal performance and whether those systems are being leveraged to their full potential to meet current and evolving security challenges, was critical for this site’s short and medium term planning.

Lobo was engaged by Oxford to assess the existing video surveillance, access control security management, intercom and panic/duress systems at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre facility and provide detailed and comprehensive recommendations to form part of the facility’s strategic plan for the lifecycle management, integration of siloed systems and their optimization.
